More on BUFF
In August, our video was in the Chroma Art Film Festival at Superblue Miami!
In June, this beautifully written piece by Dani Lamorte came out in the Cleveland Review, “Paris! Appalachia!” (or How to Live Where You Are).

BUFF is a collaboration between myself and Lenore Thomas.
In 2014, Athena Frances Harden and I started a collaborative video project called, You Are Gone, I Am Here. We began documenting our daily lives as a way to stay connected across the distance. Now, ten years later, from opposite hemispheres, we’re revisiting this collaboration—sharing glimpses of our lives to celebrate and sustain our friendship.
Follow along on Instagram as we post our footage from 2014, which won Best in Show at the 2015 Three Rivers Arts Festival Juried Visual Art Exhibition curated by Astria Suparak. Astria first called our clips, video postcards, which I love and think is the perfect description.
